Mapping

Image rectification is the conversion of a digital version of an aerial photograph into an image which will fit the map. Distortions caused by terrain height, camera tilts and camera lens distortions will have all been removed.

These images can then be imported into one of many GIS mapping software programmes, and used in a variety of ways.

Our services encompass these skills and disciplines, and where needed we outsource the images to specialist teams, to undertake this work.
